Next saturday I will actually have the system "fixed" through an aftermarket auto hifi specialist. He will fix the boomy sound from the heart by placing a couple of filters. From there I hope to be able to adjust the DSP to get acceptable sound quality. The real problem in my opinion is that the front speakers produce to low frequencies, and the Sub to much high frequencies. As a result they overlap and "fight" in the low range frequencies. I will post the outcome of the fix here.
