than the front fan at the same speed. Turn the rear fan down or off when you are not using it. If you turn the front fan to the same speed as the rear fan on high, it is probably even noisier than the rear. This is one problem that keeps getting reported that I think is false. All I hear is a large volume of air rushing through my rear vent -- no fan noise, but the air volume does make guite a wind noise. If you are getting more noise than the front, get it fixed. I like to be able to push the large volume of air to the rear when needed,a nd wouldn't want an different fan.
