ach key remembers the temp control settings of that particular key the last time the engine was turned off with that key. Of course, you could have a problem that needs to be fixed if this is not the case.


Thanks, but it's not the key. It's happened when I've turned the engine off and never even taken the key out of the ignition. But it doesn't happen all the time. Another poster says it happens to him and BMW denies there is a problem.
