they exit behind the rear valence. Only visible when on hands and knees ! Looks neat I think.

got my diesel on Saturday. Very pleased, needs loosening up a bit but oodles of low down torque/poke.
Clearly less power than the 4.4i but not that different to drive than the 3.0i. Drives very well.
Just need to find an OEM towbar that's less than the 800 quid for the BMW version!
