Its not NYC, lets face it, it can happen anywhere, get a grip.

If I were you, depending on the damage, perhaps some touch up paint might be just enough, or I would definitely consult the best paint/body guy in your area. You might try calling BMW Car Club of America and see who they could recommend.

Don't worry, I know how you feel, been there before, when I use to drive a Porsche and always stayed away from those damn Trucks, or nowadays, its big SUV's!!
