Hey folks, looking at trading in a 99 ford expedition on either a ML320 or an X5 3.0, with the bimmer currently in the lead.

A couple of questions:

(1) Rear-facing child seats with tether strap. Is there a good tether point? We couldn't find any on a cursory examination, other than the bars under the front seats (but these move when the seat is ajusted, which makes them less than ideal..) The Mercedes has a couple of tie downs directly under the front seats that make this easy..

(2) Anything interesting for the 02 models? I assume you can no longer order an 01..

I already drive an 01 330i, so have no doubts about the power of the engine, etc.
