Very difficult to access voicemail systems without one. Good point is ability to place and receive calls by a button on the wheel. Overall Mercedes system much better, with better sound quality thru the speakers, better voice recognition, and an exposed keypad for entering keys during a call.
I don't regret it; its still better than aftermarket ones in some ways. But much prefer the Mercedes system.
