yes, another aux fan question (archive)

I've got an '02 on order. I think BMW switched aux fan manufacturers in an effort to fix the fire problem. Do you all know if this correct? And if so, was it the Bosch unit that's going up in flames and is being replaced with Seimen's (or the other way around?). Are the recall's for both fans and/or have there been verified reports of both manufacturer's aux fans flaming out? Thanks.
