I am happy for you. BUT get ready for spending alot of money for gas. I mean A LOT. Especially when the gas prices are going up all over the world. When you kick down the gas padel, vowwww! The X5 will drink the gas like water.

:-)

I wish the gas prices were low.

:-(

Maybe many will say, if you want the "excellent acceleration" then you need to pay the price, or it is worthed. But, sometimes it is like you are burning your money for taking off just a couple of seconds faster.

Hi all. I'm new to this board , but a scan shows many knowledgable people involved. I'm second on my dealer's list for a 2002 4.6. I may be first, if the person before me opts not to get the dealer's first model, a spec black/b;ack with all options. Since that is a color combo I'm very interested in, I would snap it up if he doesn't. The other car I was considering was an M5, but for a variety of reasons, another "fun" car, old technology, need for a daily driver particularly in the snow, I decided to go for the 4.6.I do hope that it has some getupandgo, and I will eventually visit my local Dinan shop to see if they have anything to offer.
