to have two phones. I leave the Six Million Dollar Man hooked up all the time in the X to receive and place calls while in the vehicle, and then I have all calls in a "No Answer Transfer" mode over to a newer, V60c or any other tri-mode phone of your choosing. That way, I answer the phone in the car if I'm there, otherwise calls are transferred to my other phone...no hooking up and unhooking. More expensive, to be sure, and necessitates a second account, but solves the problem.
