3yr, 36,000mi program, I believe. This can be extended to 4 yr, 48,000 mi. The factory warranty, or course, would not cover the battery, but this is under the BMW maintenance program. My X5 is in the shop, or I would verify this. I feel sure the battery is included, as are wiper blades, belts, brakes and rotors, mufflers and exhaust, and about everything but tires.
