Finally after months of waitng I picked up my steel grey 3.0 X5 this weekend. I am in heaven... It is even better than I imagined. It was worth waitng for the 2002 they got it perfect this year.

Here is my options
- Steel Grey / Black Leather / Dark Wood
- Rear Climate Package
- Premium Package
- Cold Weather Package
- Sport Package
- Premium sound system
- Park Distance Control
- Xenon headlights
- Automatic transmission
- Self leveling rear axle
(almost eveything except the NAV)

The Sports Package really makes the whole truck. I was worried about the 3.0 being weak, but it is really fast off the line and can hold its own on the highway. I don't know if they changed the "Premuim Audio" but it is perfect with no excess bass or humming sounds. The Steel Grey with the Black inside with Dark Wood is an awesome combination.

The only thing that I would of ordered if it was possbile with the sports package would be all the above with the adjustable ride height. However from what I here that option has not been to impressive.

I thought about the NAV System long and hard but in the end I thought it would be something that I would not use and quite frankly I found it very hard to use. This is sometihng that needs some more work from BMW and I am happy I did not get it.

Thank You to Everyone on this site for helping me with choosing my options just right. This site is a great resource for those with BMWs and those who are waiting to buy there own.

John C.
