I have the Nakamichi, it does play CDRs and it does take up a lot of space in the glove box. My dealer did not recommend it, but I got it anyway. Only problem I had was that it periodically would stop playing and I would have to take all the CD's out and pop em in again and it would play for a while and stop again and the cycle continued. Took to dealer and they fixed something and no problems for over a month thus far. No skips over bumpy roads. If you drive a lot for long distances and want to change CDs get it, otherwise, the rear would do you fine.
