Joe,

thanks for your feedback. A few more questions.

1. Voice activation sounds great, but are there other features you like or dislike about it.
--- love being able to dial without taking my hands off the wheel. Phone's directory is loaded into the X5 computer, so I can scroll my entries (alphabetically) right on the dash. The voice directory, however, appears to have to be set up separately, and I haven't had a chance to do that yet.

2. Seeing what you have experienced so far, would you still recommend buying it again?
--- without a doubt. My wife always complains when I yack on the phone while driving 75mph, and when we were out Saturday, she didn't comment - aside from joining in the coversation with my sister. I also haven't had any problems with reception - comes in very clear with a strong signal. I saw some posts on the board to the contrary, but I've had no problems with reception.

3. What would be a great price for me to pay?
--- My dealer gave me the whole system (phone, voice) for $200 - I was shocked as I heard horror stories of $1000+, but he told me it's capitalized on the lease. When I didn't bring it up while ordering and told him my fear of the high price, he pushed me hard to get it and made the price very attractive! Plus i love the Timeport.

Its a great day outside here on LI, I hope you are going to be driving your New X5 today, it must feel great!

---- and up in Dutchess County it was great as well... 400 miles already on it! Did far too much driving this weekend but didn't want to go home! Kids love it as well -- 3 fit in the backseat with plenty of room.

We are so anxious to pick up ours, which should be here in 2 wks, I had to stop by the dealer Friday night, just to sit in a demo again and dream of how its going to feel to have this experience very soon.

The moment I test drove an X5 last spring, we were totally impressed on how this vehicle performed, absolutely fantastic!

Bruce
