The change in the rear end gears may also help to compensate for the change in tire sizes. The 4.4 SP 19's have 695 revolutions per mile versus the 20's which have 703. The 20's are about 1.2% smaller. Not sure if this is "part" of the reasoning for the gear change but its something that I noticed.
