You should probably also get a prescription for some muscle relaxants and pain killers as your neck will probably start to hurt like hell after a while.

Also, remember that, I believe, triple damages are collectable on the medical portion of your insurance claim against the other person's company. They pay you 100% of the value of your car, and 300% of whatever you have to spend at the doctor for the medical portion of your claim.

I suggest you make an appointment with your physician to find out what kind of hidden neck/back trauma you might have suffered in the accident.

(And no, I am not advocating making false medical claims--just suggesting he take the safe route and get everything checked out.)
