rigidity was good for a short wheel base SAV(SUV). We did not experience the pogo'ing I expected on a rough road. I did not have a problem with some of the complaints on this board with noise. I purchased the 4.4 which is heavier than the 3.0 but cannot see the 3.0 experiencing any problems. I did experience a little bouncing on a washboard road with many potholes on an unimproved road in TX. I don't think any vehicle would have been a smooth ride on this road, BUT I did not have a rattle. It may be because it is less than a month old and only 1400 miles. We shall see... Good Luck, James
