Help Removing Hood Vents/Windshld Washers pls... (archive)

I'm trying to remove the two hood vents on the hood near the front windshield for painting purposes. The vents seem to remove easy enough but I can't figure out how to remove the windshield washer sprayer nozzle from it. I imagine it must separate from the inlet hose and inlet power connector but can't feel a give point that tells me to just "pull". Has anyone done this, and if so, how can I get the washer nozzle off without breaking it?
