I had the comfort seats on my 99' 740iL that I traded in for my 00' X5. They (the comfort seats) are the car seats I ever sat in, as they allow you to contour the seat to your back (the pivot point in the seat back).

The Lumbar support is okay, but since it is not controlled by the Memory Seat (it runs on a small compressor), you'll find that you will re-adjust with multiple drivers. Don't think you can get Comfort without Lumbar.

If you can afford, definitely go for the comfort seats.
