Well I just got sick of it. Ya know when your front rims are black with brake dust and you run through a puddle or it starts raining, the brake dust starts to run in streams. To me it looks just like Tammie Faye's mascara when she starts balling her eyes out.

So I pulled each tire off from my X5, thoroughly washed it, glazed it, then wax them, inside and out. Now its just like when it was new, remember when you could just rinse the crap off with water pressure.

But what a bitch. My X5 didn't come with the scissor jack, it cam with this other piece of crap jack that I never got to work. It kept slipping and even moderately damaged my running board. So I rented a floor jack, and that wasn't so easy either. It was tough positioning the jack where it didn't cause damage to all the plastic that covers the under-carrage.

Oh and those 19"ers are heavy. Let me tell you. Getting them lifted into place so you can drive the lug nuts in, my lower back has been layed to waist.

Over all it was worth the hassle. My rims look great. Its rainy season here in Ca, and my rims should hold up looking good. And I'm really glad I found out how shitty the jack was before I really needed to use it.

I wounder if BMWNA will do a swap with me.
