Other than price, any reason to buy a 3.0? (archive)

I am looking into buying an X5... other than saving a little money, is there any reason to buy the 3.0 version? Does the 3.0 come with anything the 4.4 doesn't?

I am assuming I won't be able to get my hands on a 4.6, so I am thinking about a 4.4 unless there is some benefit other than saving a few bucks to get the 3.0.
