Consumers Reports not recommending the X5? (archive)

If Consumers Reports is not recommending the X5, that's disappointing. Did they give a reason why?


I just received my year end book and they still rate the X5 as the number 1 SUV/SAV but it is not check marked. Guess the recalls and other annoying problems have taken their toll albeit only by a small amount.
