Please let me know if others of you have experienced these issues...

The majority of owners as you can see from this board have had good luck.. I have not, however, on my 2001 3.o with 36000 miles. It has been in the shop about 20 times and out of service about 34 days in the 18 months of ownership. Some problems include stalling (reprogrammmed), odd noises (new control arms), nonfunctioning fuel guage (new fuel senders), and then it started eating oil and something blew with oil all over our driveway and garage. Will bmw come clean up our garage and resurface our driveway? It is a cracked head or bad head gasket. It handles great and is smooth for a suv, when it is on the road. BMW - NA is happy with its customers with no problems, but doesn't seem overly interested in customers with the problematic vehicles. They also don't have to charge so much for options (phones, c.d. changers, xenon, etc, even if we can afford it), and lack little things like a warning triangle, flashlight in the 3.0, 1st aid kit.
