Does the rear view mirror in the X5 Accessories catalog (page 14) include the self dimming function? This mirror looks a lot like the Gentex Night Vision Safety (NVS) mirror and I understand that they OEM mirrors to BMW but not sure which ones. The local dealer says it does auto dim but I am wary of what they say. $300 for a compass is a little steep but if it includes the dimming feature I would pop for it. Anyone have any experience with this mirror?
