area -- (southern NY). I'm friends with the highway superintendent and pure salt, nothing else, because it's very cheap. But by the time it hits your car, it's mixed with all the crap from other cars, oil, etc..

Plus we've had no snow/ice/freezing rain yet! And I want to drive my new X5 with snows in the SNOW!!



whatever chemical (and its not salt believe me) using on the roads during winter, I have to wash my car every bloody day, and driving on this crap for 15 mins, car is filthy again!
You cant even wipe this dirt, and its very cold to wash too (15 F today)..

Sorry, just frustrated..
