My 2002 had some minor wind noise from the driver's door. Being a former ML owner, I guess I'm particularly sensitive to air leaks, b/c the Mercedes was like driving with the door open.
I took a steel ruler and placed it across the gap between the front & rear doors. I found that all the doors were not adjusted so that the door was flush with the rest of the body. Adjusting them took about ten minutes. Pop off the black plastic cover on the door jamb keeper. Then use a torx bit to loosen the two bolts that attach the keeper. Loosen them just enough to move the keeper, use masking tape to mark the "factory" position of the keeper, in case you need to get back to square one. Move the keeper in or out, depending on which direction you need adjustment. The inner vertical edge of the keeper should be parallel with the inner door jamb. Then tighten & check door alignment. After I re-aligned all 4 doors, it was noticably quieter at speed, and as a plus, the doors feel more solid when closing.
