Rattling Sunshades -- Anyone Have a Fix? (archive)

I have noticed a slight vibration rattle from the sunshades on my X5. It sounds simply like the hard plastic leading edge is rubbing against the housing -- it does not come from inside the door itself. I have thought about finding small rubber pads to stick on so that it is more firmly lodged in the housing.

Any others have this issue or a solution?
