It seemed to me that for you the purpose of replacing wheels is for the looks. You probably can go to your local dealers to look at stlye 74 and 69's, but style 69 wheels will be easier to clean. www.tirerack.com has a web page to try out different non-BMW's wheels on X5. Just follow the link of "Shop for wheels".


My 4.4 non SP is on order. Didn't get the SP because of harsh winters and bad roads in No. Minnesota. But, I hate the Style 58 wheels that come on the non SP 4.4 and I am going to change them.
Should I go with #74 which is the star spoke that comes on the 4.4 SP, or #69, which is the star spoke that comes with 18" wheels with a 3.0 SP> Or, should I go with a non BMW wheel (and if so which one). If I stay with BMW, the dealership will give me $200 each trade in allowance for the #58's (against the new wheel's full MSRP).
