NAV screen/radio frequency display (archive)

When GPS guidance is on and I change radio stations, GPS information is replaced by radio station frequency. Frequency also appears in instrument cluster bottom line. Anyone know a way to keep GPS info on screen and not allow radio frequency to take its place? Thanks
