When I got my x5, I noticed the non lit extra lights. Nosey me I poped off the rear panel and took notice as too why this is not lite.

Only to find the socket where the bulbs goes is capped off. You think I could just leave it be?
Ahhh no. Being the field tech that I am for Verizon I simply bought 2 bulbs from BMW poped out the cap, locked in the bulbs and installed the electrical for it. It really looks great and it works just the same as the break lights. Really lights up the back.
