I have had several BMWs which came with a card containing a Radiocard pass code. My new 2002 X5 did not come with a Radiopass card or code. Is that normal for the X5s?

My 2001 had no such RadioPass. I called BMWNA and was told that the X5 radios were not coded, which was also confirmed by my dealer. I have the Serial Number of my radio jotted down just in case the battery powers down so that the radio won't have to be pulled from the dash to get the Serial off of the radio case. Your dealer should have that info anyway in their computer.
