Hard to close,or lights stay on after closing. It needs adjustment by your dealer.Search archives for many similar answers. This is the poorest designed part of the vehicle. I imagine and Explorer has a better set up.
It seems my tail gate unlatches on its own. I thought I may have been my accidentally pushing the wrong unlock button, but it seem to happen even if I did not touch the key.

Anyone else have a tail gate Gremlin?
