I had a similar problem with mine. Reversing the blade on the arm corrected it.

The location where the wiper arm connects to the blade assembly is not in the middle of the blade assembly's length. If the blade assembly is not connected to the wiper arm correctly (i.e if it is backwards), the blade will catch at the 12 o'clock position where the third brake light is located.

Here's what lead to the discovery: Some months ago, the dealer replaced the rear window. When they replaced the wiper blade they did so backwards. The end of the blade which should have been pointing outward away from the pivot point was pointing inward towards the pivot point. I reversed the blade assembly and it has worked fine since.
