I had this problem, which took more than six visits to the dealer to fix. What they finally found was that the seal around the large air vents in the center of the console was bad, and therefore they were rattling against the inside of the dashboard (apparently this is not an uncommon problem). They also found some metal bar (sorry about my lack of technical know-how) near the air vents which was loose on one side, and was also causing noise. The repair itself took half an hour, but finding the problem took forever.

only if car is going on a more of bumpy road this rattling noice comes from right side ofsteering wheel area or by the dash area near by

any one else with this?
