Mutec's X5 is not quite up to the 700hp of the 6 liter V12 in BMW's Le Mans X5, but it looks like it would kick the Hartge 5.0 and the 4.6is.
"The tuner Mutec equipped the BMW X5 with a 6.1 liter V12 engine. With this engine, the new X5 has 450hp and a maximum speed of 270 km/hr. Mutec has also designed a new aerodynamic package and the suspension has been modified and lowered with new 19 inch wheels and Michelin tires. This SUV (SAV) is apparently made for those who are impatient to wait for BMW to produce a V12 X5 such as that used to set a new record at the Nurburgring circuit."

Bavarian Autosport carries the Mutec aerokit and wheels. The lines of the aerokit are smoother and more rounded than the kits from AC Schnitzer or Hartge. See Bavarian Autosport's latest catalog or website for pics.
