Lemon Law requirements depend on your state. Usually the dealer has to have a number of chances to fix something (here in Texas it's 4, or 2 for a safety-related matter) before the law would apply.

Any chance you could post a pix of this defect?

As my previous post, my 2002 X5 3.0 has uneven gap between bumper and tailgate. I wnet to two different dealers and they claimed this is normal to 2002 model. There is no fix for this problem. I love this car so much but I couldn't live with this ugly defect. I am regretted that I should inspected my car more carefully when I picked up the car. Is that possible that I can file Lemon Law against BMWNA for this kind of problem??
Thanks,
Jerry
