I don't have the SP, but I do have the 18" wheels on an '01 4.4i. And it is dead on in any lane on the highway. I agree with you - it's not right. FWIW, I had two Jeep Grand Cherokees before the X5, and both would pull to the right on any road, despite a dead-on alignment. Chrysler never could figure it out. I was griping about it at the BMW garage, and the service writer told me that it was a known problem (she used to work at a Jeep shop) and could be fixed with new lower ball joints.
How you had the tires checked by a tire dealer? Could have a busted belt.

I have a '01 X5 3.0 that constantly drifts left at highway speeds. Car has been aligned twice (list time w/digital printout) and it shows that its dead-on specs. However, problem not solved. Dealer says its because I have sport package and the 18 inch tires make it more sensitive especially to camber of the road. To me, thats a joke . . . they can't figure it out. Anybody have same problem and know how to solve? I tried a couple pound lower psi in right front, but that didn't solve it. All help appreciated. Thanks!
