Just food for thought. I worked on a 74trans am (650 HP, 3sp high output tranny and will do 1\4 ml in the high 9s and will blow the doors off of any Mustang you can thing of )which has a split body design much like the X5 and had to reinforce the body bolts which are metal to stronger ones, so the frame would not twist up on us. The rear sub-frame on the X5 body mounts are rubber.

I still think that tank looks like .... >:Þ
