The BMW rear seat covers are heavy duty and fit fairly snugly. If you're going to install them, be prepared for a workout, especially with your hands. I'd recommend you have a helper.

Installation requires lifting the rear seat cushion (no big deal) and removing the three rear seat headrests. The two outside headrests come off fairly easily. The center headrest requires much more force and rocking from side to side to get it off, but it can be done.


Does anyone make a custom fit split seat rear cover for the X5?
