I have 2001 X5 4.4 build date of Aug 2000.

1) Radio: #1- When I turn off the engine and remove the key from the ignition with the radio still turned on, and when I turn the engine back on, the radio has no sound. I need to turn off the radio and then back on to get the sound.

2) Radio: #2- When the engine is turned off but the key still left in the accessary mode with the radio turned on, the volume shoots up very loudly when I turn the engine back on.

3) PDC: It used to false alarm intermittently.
But, after reading some comments on this forum, I found a temporary fix. It was definitely the interference from the front license plate holder.
Once I took it off, I have never had a false alarm. When I visit my dealer next month, I plan to compain about it.

4) Seat Memory doesn't always work. Already on your list.

5) Steering Column: It moos and sometimes doesn't fully extend or come up.

6) Temperature Setting: It doesn't always remember the last setting. Already on your list.

7) Engine cranks but sometimes doesn't start. Already on your list.

8) Wind Noise: It still exists. But, got used to it somewhat. Already on your list.

9) I used to have intermittent and fluctuating fuel gauge problem but the dealer seems to have fixed it.

Thanks.
