I have DirecTV and very happy. Here in NJ, I get all local channels too. A friend of mine recently signed up for DirecTV through Blockbuster. He got free installation + 52 free DVD rentals (one a week for 1 year). Monthly fees are cheaper than cable.


Charter Cable in my area is now basically blackmailing everyone into getting digital cable and to be honest the costs seem to increase every few months. Im paying over 50 bucks for extended cable and a few premium channels.

I just checked out the Dish TV site and it seems like a very good deal. Does anyone use this? Is it true that you cant get local stations?

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
