you need multiple receivers,right? Comcast here in Central PA is raising rates again and 'giving' us three channels that I could care less about so we are turning cable off when the next bill comes. I would get a dish, but I have 4 tv's, so I need to buy two more receivers and pay 10.00 more each month for the receivers.....I wish Comcast would have a real basic cable package for folks like me, 25 channels or so, or BETTER, I will pay the current rate, but let me PICK the 25-30 channels I WANT, not including premium of course. Their whining about scrambling etc. doesn't wash because every 6 months they 'give us' three more channels that were previously only available with a box. NET NET, Cable in my area is a monopoly. Dish etc. are not real competition, cable knows this so the other option is to just say NO, which is what we are doing next month. NO CABLE. Life will go on.
