Dish has HBO and Showtime full-time HDTV pay movie channels, a demo channel (various programming) and some HDTV pay movie channels. They also get the full-time CBS HDTV signal, so you can get all the games and programming from CBS at full 16Mbs speed from the satellite. The DISH 500 programming reqires a separate antenna. The model 6000 receiver is required for HDTV, and can get HDTV broadcast signals as well. Later this year, they are coming out with a new receiver with TIVO-type HDTV digital recording (about 35 hours) on a disk, dual channels, so you can watch one and record another, and all the latest stuff. That is what I am waiting for.
