You will love the sand interior, and have added quite a number of great options too. I recommend you remove the cheap plastic chrome badges ASAP, using a hair dryer...very easily done, and makes cleaning/waxing easier, and the beast looks much better too. Also, remember to remove the spare key from the manual, and keep it outside of the vehicle in a safe place. In addition, learn to use the pin code for extra security when not in vehicle. License plate frames are tacky and unnecessary as well.

Get your cleaning supplies in advance from car care specialties on line, and do not allow dealer to clean, as they will not be as careful in preventing swirl marks as you will learn to do.

Finally ordered an X5 on Saturday. Expect delivery around May 1. I asked the salesman about heated rear seats on the 3.0 and he said they could not be ordered at this time. Lease is up on my 99 328i and I am turning it back in. It was a great car I will miss.
