and didn't offer near the coverage I have, so I just insure it. I am losing money any way you slice it, but I like it. I do drive the XK8 in spirited drives when the weather permits. I need to wear out the tires n the next year or so, or rot will set in. I'd say 6 year for Z rated tires is a long time. Not one defect from the factory, and npthing but routine maintenance thus far. I got 7 additional year extended warranty from warranty direct, for a total of 11 yrs and 70K miles. Covers everything w/$0 deductible.
