I'm driving the 3.0i, the wife is driving the AWD T&C Lxi. Dunno 'bout you, but for a minivan it ain't half bad. Plus I can get a 10' length of PVC in there, can't do that with the X5!

There are so many variables with insurance such as deductable amounts, coverage amounts, driving record, chargeable claims, garaged vs. not, etc., etc.... My X5 4.4 costs me $800/year and Town&Country another $600/yr.... but you can't compare that so anything as I only drive 15 miles to the train station and carpool (or so my insurance company thinks), and I could go on with all the different variables.

This is asked so often and there is no "right" answer.

If you think your rate is high, shop around.

My insurance just raised my premium for my x5 from $1500/yr to $3500 yr/ because I've had rough records for past year. im 29 living in VA and $3500 is very high for VA. how much do you guys pay for insurance especially those that are young and have points??
