Back from Maui today...dead battery? (archive)

Can you belive my battery was dead after one week! Seem to recall this happening to others as well. Was this a weak bettery to begin with?
Anyway Maui was fantastic...H-Bay was 6-8 foot for three days and went and surfed "Hana" for the first time..strange there but cool.
