I just came out of 2001 740i sport(sold to a friend) it had sport comfort seats(wish X5 had those)The comfort seats in X5 are great(no problems in 13+ hours driving) Due to no high bolsters on bottom cushion it is easier to slide in and out of seat. The leather is not 2 tone as shown in 2002 X5 brochure and Nappa is very soft!
From what I understand, Bmw makes a 19 inch wheel in BMW wheel catalog for 4.6(due to 14 inch front brakes, won't clear on smaller wheels) for snow tires. No mud autocross due to tires would cake up too easily. The Diamaris is a high performance(not a/s tire)
I also like BBQ but forgot to search for a plce. You may ask locals at PCD for a good place.

The best I could due on varing speeds was 65-85 mph. I made alot of pit stops and visited all states visitor centers.
