Anyone else have hard time keeping under 4500 rpm? (archive)

... during break in? The new 3.0 has > 800 miles and I'm having a hard time keeping it under 4500 rpm.

I am so used to the old E28 528e cars I have, this truck is soooo quiet. Actually too quiet, my kids drive me nuts because I can hear every thing they say /do!!!

2002 Steel Grey, Prem, Activity, Zenons, RR Climate, etc.

Also, raised the Zenons up and made a _HUGE_ difference, the cut off was about 2 1/2 car lengths in front. These lights are awesome, and the high beams fill in perfectly.
