Mine's using a quart every 3k and seems to be getting worse. It's at the Dealer for the 15k service we'll see what they say. BTW its an '01 3.0 5 speed manual that sees mostly highway traffic. I hope something gives way. The 525i it replaced didn't use any oil with 160K on the clock.

Just turn over 10,000 miles and added the second quart..

Any one else having to add oil? This is one quart ever 5,000 miles.
